Tri-County Medical, Education and Research Foundation (TMERF), non-profit c3 corporation* created in 2008 as the sister organization of the Webb-Zapata-Jim Hogg County Medical Society (WZJHCMS), non-profit c6 corporation. TMERF was created for the purpose of raising money and applying for grants for medical education, research, and serving the financially handicapped population. Current WZJHCMS members are also members of TMERF.
